CLYDE's Story
Meet Clyde (A564990)!This big, beautiful hunk has been with us for a few weeks now, and we truly cannot figure out why he is still here. Yes, he is a large boy, and we know his size can feel intimidating at first glance, but once you meet him, you will quickly see that Clyde is just a giant sweetheart. Clyde absolutely comes alive in the play yard. The “big scary dog” act disappears and he turns into a total goofball, bouncing around and playing like an oversized puppy. He loves other dogs and has shown he can do well with both males and females. He would truly shine in a multi dog household where he can have canine friends to romp around with. On leash, Clyde walks well and enjoys getting out and about. He also loves treats, which makes bonding and continued training that much easier. He is affectionate, fun loving, and has so much joy to give. If you are looking for a sweet, social boy with plenty to hold onto and an even bigger heart, Clyde might just be your perfect match. Come meet this lovable giant and see for yourself. Clyde is guesstimated to be 1 year old and weighs 78 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Clyde? Just stop by our shelter and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D32. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID.
