My name is Clyde and I am a lab mix pup that is in LOVE with life! Other dogs? LOVE ‘em! I am currently in a foster home with three resident canines, having a great time! I am learning so much from them about being a good dog. Have kids in your life? I’m all in! LOVE kids, too! I am still pretty young and working very hard on learning all my important home life skills. Looking for a fetch partner? Yep..that’s me! I am really good about bringing the ball back cause I know another throw is in my future! Yes… I do have puppy energy, but I am a good mix of on the move and chill on the couch buddy. Pretty great, right/!?! I am soooo curious about everything but also pay attention and listen well to the foster family. If you are looking for a new member of the family that will greet you every day with love and cuddles and a wagging tail, you are looking for ME! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Tail wags and warm cuddles-Clyde **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525, which includes getting the puppy up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
