Clyde's Story

Clyde is a 2–3 year old Blue Heeler, perfectly sized at just 35 lbs. He was rescued alongside his sister Bonnie (who’s already in her forever home) after the pair were abandoned at a gas station and survived on their own for several weeks. Despite everything he’s been through, Clyde has held onto his gentle spirit.

Life on the streets taught him to be alert and resilient, but at his core, Clyde is an affectionate, people-loving boy who just wants to bond with someone special. For a young heeler, his energy is wonderfully balanced—he enjoys activity and engagement, but he’s not an over-the-top, nonstop cattle dog. He walks beautifully on leash and truly enjoys daily strolls, quiet time, and cozy snuggles.

Clyde is smart and observant. Because he had to take charge to survive, he can sometimes show confident or “bossy” behaviors around other dogs. Altough he can do well with other dogs in the right setting, with the right leadership; Clyde would be happy being someone’s one-and-only loyal companion. He can do also do well with respectful older kids. We recommend a feline free home.

Clyde has come such a long way. Now he’s ready for the chapter he truly deserves—a safe, loving home and a person to call his own.

To apply to adopt Clyde, please follow the link below:
https://form.jotform.com/232888843130057
form.jotform.com
