My name is Clover, and my tiger stripes and gorgeous eyes make me one stunning catch! My foster says my sweet disposition and dog-friendly attitude are some of my best traits! I have to admit that I am a....CUDDLE BUG....I can't get enough pets and cuddles and kisses from the kids and grownups around me! I am also a pretty smart cookie and am mostly housebroken....I can hold it through the night! Favorite things? TOYS, CUDDLES, and fun walks! And who doesn't love a good run around the yard?!? If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application, and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quickly as they can! Sweet puppy kisses and warm puppy cuddles-Clover **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.

Our Mission

Chicagoland Dog Rescue (CDR) brought a few people together who had been doing rescue work on their own. Our common goal is to rescue dogs that suffer at the hands of cruel or ignorant owners, owner give-aways, or those that are homeless. We are a small group of volunteers who work full time jobs and try to help as many dogs...
