Cloak of the Bat's Story

I've heard of hair of the dog, but not cloak of the bat... meet Cloak of the Bat! Her friends call her Batty. She's a super sweet 2-1/2-year-old girl who's fully grown at 40 lbs. She was a stray-transfer from the Wichita Animal Shelter, so sadly, we don't know her history, but Batty is a total sweetheart :) She can be shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with a bit of patience. After she knows you're nice, she's all snuggles! Batty already knows both "sit" and "shake". Because of her shyness, we recommend supervision of her around young children. Kansas Humane Society of Wichita's Adoption Policy
Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis - no appointment needed. Holds may be placed for a deposit by visiting KHS, or calling 316-524-9196. When you arrive at KHS, let our adoptions counselors know which animal(s) you'd like to meet in our visiting rooms or play yards. We encourage visits by all members of the household, especially kids and other dogs! *Must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult) with a current photo ID. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your adopted companion.
