CLEO's Story

CLEO had one owner since she was 5 months old. CLEO was 10 years old and suddenly found herself surrendered to a high kill shelter. CLEO was very stressed.

There was a plea from the shelter to Rescue Groups to take her in as she had a lot of life in her.

We took CLEO and found her to be a very sweet senior gal who loves her walks, especially in the forested areas. CLEO acts mire like a 6-7 year old dig, this gal can walk a good distance!

CLEO does suffer from some anxiety due to the hard changes in her life. She does settle after a couple of weeks in a new home.

CLEO is happy to greet other dogs but then is quite indifferent and does not like them jumping on her. She does go for pack walks.

CLEO lived in an apartment and was alone for 12 hours. At her foster home, she really enjoys the backyard and time with her foster Mom, following her around.

CLEO is up to date on vaccines, spayed, on heartworm prentative, and is very energetic for her age, very robust.

CLEO is an affectionate and sweet companion who really needs a home with people who will give her time to settle. CLEO loves food and walks and toys.

Please contact Helen for any questions and to request an adoption application. Thank you so much for considering adoption!
