Cleo's Story

Move over, Cleopatra - there's a new queen in town, and this one has four paws. Cleo is a 31-pound terrier mix with a stunning light tan coat and gorgeous tan eyes that are sure to capture
your heart. She is pretty underweight still and will need to pack on a number more to truly fill out. Cleo is a natural charmer who absolutely adores people. When she meets new human friends, she turns on the charm and is happy to soak up all the attention. She's also a curious little explorer, taking in everything around her with wide-open eyes so she doesn't miss a single thing.
When it comes to her canine court, Cleo plays nicely with the dogs in her group and enjoys exploring the world around her. Back in her royal quarters, she's quiet in her crate and keeps her space neat and tidy - just as any proper princess should.
Now this sweet girl is searching for a forever kingdom of her own, complete with people who will adore her, adventures to share, and plenty of love. Cleo is ready to trade her shelter throne for a forever home where she can reign supreme as the queen she was always meant to be.
*Sleepover notes: " Cleo was sweet, funny, and full of surprises during our weekend with her! To start - she is a 10/10 cuddle bug. She follows you around like you're royalty and is happiest curled up beside you on the couch. She happily cuddled with me, my husband, our son, and visiting friends. All she wants is love and safety, no matter who it comes from. she was hilariously playful and quirky. She loved tossing acorns around the yard, chasing them as they rolled, and playing with fallen leaves. She was also wonderfully sweet and patient with our 3.5-year-old son.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
