Clark's Story
Meet Clark — A Furry Farm Favorite with a Big Voice & Bigger Heart

Clark is the kind of pup who makes farm life a little louder, a lot sweeter, and way more fun. With his beautiful coat and confident strut, he's equal parts charming and curious—and his personality shines brighter every day here at the Furry Farm.

This boy is a talker! Clark loves chatting with the other dogs and will absolutely let you know if treat delivery is taking longer than expected. He's attentive, engaged, and eager to learn—often picking things up faster than his brother. He listens well, pays attention to what's going on around him, and truly enjoys being part of the action.

Clark is extremely social and very dog-oriented. He has gone out of his way to befriend every dog he meets, even convincing a shepherd to let him snuggle in for naps. He's especially bonded to his brother and will whine if separated, so he would thrive in a home with another friendly canine companion.

Athletic and adventurous, Clark has shown he could climb a chain-link fence—but the good news is he responds well to redirection and wants to please. Potty training is improving steadily, and crate training is going great. With a little encouragement at bedtime, he settles quickly—and when the crate door is left open, he often chooses it for his own nap time.

Clark does wonderfully with routine and understands the farm schedule: meals, crate time, and outdoor breaks. He's quick to come when called, sits nicely, is learning “down,” and is working on “wait.” He's also learning the dog door and uses it confidently, even if he's not fully potty-independent yet.

He's been introduced to cats and has shown gentle curiosity without overreacting, so with proper introductions, he should do just fine. Bonus points: no destructive chewing so far (we're impressed—usually a slipper has been sacrificed by now ).

Neutered | Current on DHPPV, Bordetella & Rabies | Microchipped
Adoption Fee: $350

About Furry Farm Rescue

Furry Farm Rescue, established in 2017, is a foster-home–based rescue in North Idaho.
