Clark's Story

Meet Clark! Aka Clarkie - Clark is an absolute joy of a puppy! Clark’s favorite thing to do is snuggle! When she isn’t trying to be a lap dog, she patrols her backyard, sniffing every last inch of the ground, and holds her nose up in the air to see what the wind has carried in also. Nothing gets past her Labrador nose. She tries to play with her foster Weim brothers but goes belly up when they try to play back - She desperately wants them to chase her but may be a bit intimidated by their very large size. But that doesn’t stop her from trying multiple times a day. Belly up is a family trait that she inherited from her mom (now a lucky LWR foster with a home of her own) as well as her sunny and gentle disposition. With a healthy appetite, and a knack for food puzzles, Clark likes to work her mind as much as she does her little body. Clark still sleeps with her litter mates and is working on crate training and potty training and Clark is already using the doggie door. She is a quick learner and will walk to the treat bowl after each encounter, ensuring that she gets one if they are being handed out. She has such a “pretty sit” and is eager to please her foster family. Clark would love a family to cuddle and grow with that can enrich her training and continue to grow her good foundation.
Basics-11 week old, UTD on vaccinations (all boosters), microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Clark is being fostered in Knoxville, TN.
If this sweet girl is a candidate for your family, please go to louisvilleweimrescue.com and complete the adoption application!
