Please meet little Miss Clarice- our newest Pointer rescue for 2025. She is about 9 months old and under 40lbs. She was found as a stray in the Joliet, Il area and my guess is she was dumped because she wasn't hunting- which is the usual reason.<br/><br/>Clarice needs a patient loving home that will help her learn basic house manners. She would also benefit from some basic obedience and positive food and praise training. She also needs a home with a safe traditional fenced in yard. She is a playful girl and would benefit from playful companions. She did seem interested in tweetie birds in the bushes but wasn't sure about the quail in my garage. <br/><br/>She is having her exam and blood work soon and we'll update if anything unusual shows up.
