Clarence is a 5 1/2 year old Irish Greyhound born on 5/1/2020. He was in a home and has been returned due to medical issues in the home and no fault of his own. <br/><br/>From his people in Ireland: Clarence is such an amazing fellow and has been a favorite of all the staff at Paws since his arrival. He was very unsure of his surroundings but has come on in leaps and bounds since. Clarence is a quiet boy and is very content once he has a doggy buddy to hang out with. At first Clarence did not know what a bed was, but now it is his favorite place to relax. He enjoys getting out on walks but can be a little nervous of new places or situations. He would definitely be happier with a social dog who can build his confidence. Clarence could sit for hours enjoying love, cuddles, and attention. He was fine with a small dog. <br/><br/>Clarence has SLO which is an immune mediated disease which causes brittle nails and frequent loss of nails. He will need to be on medication for life for this condition.
