Meet Claire Bear!<br/><br/>Claire Bear is a beautiful 1.5-year-old, 83lb girl with a big heart to match her big size. Claire was originally adopted from a local shelter as a puppy but was recently returned a year later when her family decided they no longer wanted her. Understandably, she was very shut down and petrified in the shelter environment - but once she felt safe again, her true, sweet personality started to shine.<br/><br/>Claire is a social and friendly girl who absolutely loves playing with other dogs that are tolerant of her size and enthusiastic energy. Because she can be a bit much for smaller dogs or seniors. Claire has lived with cats previously and done well.<br/><br/>This happy girl enjoys romping around outside and would thrive in a home with a physically fenced yard or an active walking family. She has a good understanding of house manners and is crate trained - she was previously allowed her to free-range. Unfortunately, boredom led her to occasionally chew shoes, so she'll benefit from structure, enrichment, and plenty of appropriate toys (which she loves!).<br/><br/>Claire Bear adores spending time with her people, does well with dog-savvy children, and truly has all the makings of a wonderful family dog. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
