CLAIRE BEAR's Story

Meet Claire Bear — Your Sweet, Snuggly, Adventure-Loving Puppy! Claire Bear had a fun-filled Doggie Day Out exploring Southside Park and downtown, and she showed us what a lovable, wiggly sweetheart she truly is. This active pup is all heart, all joy, and all puppy energy! Claire Bear handled the busy downtown environment like a champ. She walked calmly past kids ages 5–10 with no reaction, stayed unfazed by runners, cars, and loud noises, and never barked, not even once! She loved meeting new people and soaked up all the pets, hugs, and attention she could get. She quickly trusted her handler and was gentle and affectionate with friends they met along the way. She was very excited to see other dogs and eager to play, so she’d benefit from slow introductions and direction from her person. She never showed any reactivity, just enthusiasm! She also enjoyed lounging on a coffee shop patio, where she happily greeted admirers and received compliments from a couple who adore pitties. Claire Bear is still a growing pup with lots to learn. She’s strong, determined, and curious, and she would definitely benefit from some leash training. She likes to zig-zag, explore, and power-walk toward interesting smells, and she’d do best with a confident handler who can help guide her in the right direction. She’s also still learning her name, so she’ll need someone patient and positive to help her continue building good habits. Despite some “I’d rather go this way” moments and refusing certain streets, she stayed sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond the entire time. She walked about 2 miles, handled the city environment beautifully, and showed that she’s both brave and sensitive in all the right ways. Claire Bear is a loving, friendly, playful puppy who will thrive in a home ready to help her learn, grow, and enjoy life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a snuggly adventure buddy with a heart of gold, this girl is ready to be your best friend.
