Claire's Story
Claire is a sweetheart with a heart of gold! This poor girl was stuck in the shelter THREE TIMES before we saved her off the euthanasia list. We have no idea how such a loving, funny, young pup could not be claimed by her former adopters, but we are more than happy to give her her second chance at a loving and comfortable life.

Claire has energy for days! She outplays all of the other dogs at her foster's house and only needs a little bit of down time before she is ready to play chase and wrestle again. Once she's gotten her zoomies out, this girl has shown that she is very eager to learn, mastering "sit" and "kennel" in one afternoon. Claire's ideal home will have a playful canine buddy for her to run around with. She loves meeting new people, but needs gentle reminders that not everyone wants a Claire hug the second she sees them. With some training and time to adapt to life in a house, this girl will be the ultimate family dog - ready for adventures, happy to play, and also ready to cuddle whenever needed.

Claire is 11 months old, is spayed, and is UTD on vaccines. She is currently underweight, but will likely be about 65 lbs with a proper diet. She has not been tested with cats, but she did accidentally pick up the resident tortoise because she was unsure of what to do. She easily redirected and put him down gently.
