Citrine's Story

Citrine is a sweet 9-year-old Pomeranian girl who is happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up pets, lounging on the couch, and quietly observing the world around her. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion to share quiet moments with, Citrine is your girl.

Citrine does wonderfully in the car, enjoys spending time in her crate, and thrives on a consistent potty routine. She walks beautifully on leash and enjoys short strolls, though she can get tired with too many stairs and prefers a slower, more leisurely pace. She’s generally very quiet, only speaking up occasionally when she needs something like a potty break or a refill of her water bowl.

Citrine is a professional couch potato with occasional surprise zoomies — especially when you come home! She’ll greet you with excitement, a happy wiggle, and a reminder that older dogs still have plenty of joy to share. She enjoys shorter, easy walks and walks beautifully on leash, but she prefers fewer stairs and a relaxed pace. Citrine has lived peacefully with another small Pomeranian and does best with respectful dogs who give her personal space. We’re not sure how she’d do with cats or larger dogs. She’s had a few teeth removed, so she prefers her kibble softened with water and loves soft, easy-to-chew treats.

Overall, Citrine is a loving, thoughtful little soul who enjoys being included in daily life and will make a wonderful companion for a home looking for a loyal, gentle presence.
