Cisco's Story

**WE DO NOT RESPOND TO APPLICATIONS MADE ON PETFINDER. YOU MUST APPLY ON OUR LINK WHICH IS BELOW**

Hi! My name is Cisco and I’m a handsome blue merle schnauzer mix who is about 3 years old. My freckled coat and scruffy terrier face make me pretty unique, but my personality is what really makes me special.

I’m an energetic little guy who loves playing with toys, running around with other dogs, and being part of whatever my humans are doing. Walks, playtime, exploring outside, or just hanging out together — I’m happiest when I’m included in daily life. I’m the kind of dog who forms a strong bond with my person and will happily follow you from room to room.

My previous owner surrendered me because I barked too much for apartment living. The truth is, I’m a typical terrier who likes to communicate and let my people know when something interesting is happening. Because of that, I would do best in a house rather than an apartment or condo, where shared walls won’t be an issue.

I’m not a big fan of being locked in a crate for long periods of time. I really prefer to be near my people and included in family activities and adventures.

I do best with regular potty breaks and encouragement, and when I stay on a schedule things go smoothly. If you forget to let me out for too long, I might poop in the house. A dog’s gotta go when a dog’s gotta go. I am making great progress though, and I’ve stopped peeing in the house completely. With consistency in my new home, I should continue improving.

Like many dogs who have gone through some changes in life, there are a few things that still make me nervous. I’m not a big fan of blow dryers, stairs, or being sprayed with the shower hose, but with patience and gentle encouragement I’m gaining confidence every day.

Cisco would thrive in a house with space to play and explore. He would do best with a family who enjoys having a dog closely involved in their daily activities. Because he loves companionship, a home where someone is around often would help him feel secure. Another friendly dog to play with could also be a great match.

Cisco may be small, but his personality is big. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, he will reward his new family with loyalty, playfulness, and endless companionship.

Cisco's adoption fee is $450, and he is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He is full of love and ready to find a forever home.

Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/4u3tuy5c
-Due to the high volume of applications, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
