Cindi's Story

REMEMBER CINDI?

You may remember this sweet girl from when she first came into VPRPs care. Cindi was found as a stray and brought to The Animal Foundation, where she ended up on the transfer list with a badly broken tail and severe, chronic ear infections. She was overlooked in adoptions, and with a commitment date quickly approaching, we just couldn't let her run out of time.
When Cindi came to us, she was in rough shape. Her severely broken tail, her ears painfully infected, and she had been dealing with so much discomfort for who knows how long. She was even covered in her own waste from a stress-related tummy upset.
But look at her now.
Cindi has come such a long way, and we are so excited to introduce this sweet girl to the world again as she searches for her forever home!
Cindi is an absolute GEM with the sweetest personality. Her adorable ears are just one of the things that makes her so special—after everything her ears have been through, one has that precious floppy look while the other stands tall.
She loves giving kisses to her people AND her furry friends, enjoys short little walks, and is happiest when she's close to the ones she loves. Those little legs do get tired, though, so a stroller or a willing set of arms is perfect for longer adventures! She's also a BIG fan of treats—especially freeze-dried liver—and apparently has a soft spot for a little ice cream, too.
When she's not cuddling with you, you'll often find Cindi perched on the back of the couch, keeping an eye on everything happening around her. Shes not much of a barker, but every now and then shell speak up to remind everyone whos really in charge.
Cindi went from a scared, hurting stray with nowhere to go... to a loved, happy little girl ready to find the family she's always deserved.
