Looking for a fun, sweet companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart? Meet Cinderella, a 50ish-pound Lab x Hound mix who’s ready to start her next chapter.<br/><br/>Cinderella came from a hoarding case with over 70 dogs, so she’s just beginning to learn what life as a loved family member looks like (but she’s already embracing it in her own curious, endearing way after only a few days). She enjoys exploring, following her nose, and being part of what’s going on around her.<br/><br/>She’s incredibly food motivated and surprisingly smart, which makes her a great candidate for training. She enjoys working for her food and is determined to figure things out (something that will really help as she learns new skills and routines).<br/><br/>Cinderella is still working on her manners and will need a home committed to helping her learn the basics. She also needs to learn boundaries (she can be a bit jumpy and likes to explore everything within reach). She can be slightly timid with new things at first but warms up quickly and is already showing her sweet, affectionate side. She enjoys cuddling, being close, and soaking up attention.<br/><br/>She has a medium energy level, meaning she enjoys play, walks, and activity but also settles, making her a nice balance for many homes. She would be a great family dog but please keep in mind that young children (Under 6) may not be the best choice at this time due to her jumpiness. She is a sweetie though and you are welcome to apply regardless!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a dog you can bond with, teach, and watch blossom, Cinderella might just be your perfect match. <br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
