Cider 25-141's Story
Cider is a 2-year-old, 40-pound terrier mix who's basically the perfect blend of sweet and confident. She was found wandering as a stray and taken to our local shelter, and once we met her, we knew she needed a soft landing - so she joined our rescue family.
Cider is gentle on leash, loves meeting new dog friends, and is wonderfully kind with people. She carries herself with this calm, sure-of-herself vibe, but she's also affectionate and warm in that "wow, this dog really loves me already" kind of way.
If you're looking for a loving companion who's friendly, steady, and ready to start her next chapter, Cider is your girl.

Cider if full vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, her adoption fee is $300.

Cider is in the Paws in Prison program, where she receives basic obedience training. She graduated from Paws in Prison on 2/14/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.

For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.

If you are interested in meeting Cider or learning more about our adoption process, please submit an adoption application. Thank you!

Sponsor: Grady Keith
