Chyna *Hospice- adoption fee waived*'s Story

Meet Chyna
Chyna is an incredibly sweet, loving girl whose greatest joy is simply being close to her person—ideally curled up beside them on the couch. She has a neurological condition called Cerebellar Cortical Degeneration, a hereditary and progressive condition that affects her coordination and mobility. While there is no cure and the rate of progression is uncertain, Chyna continues to enjoy life with supportive care, patience, and a safe, controlled environment.

Despite her physical challenges, Chyna is truly easy to love and live with. She is house-trained with no accidents, will kennel when asked, and has never chewed on anything she shouldn’t. She doesn't play or chew on bones, rather a calm companion who just wants to be wherever her person is. Stairs are a challenge for her, and she needs assistance and supervision to stay safe—but otherwise, she fits beautifully into a quiet home.

Chyna is still quite wobbly and bouncy when walking, eating, drinking, and even when going potty, and she does fall over or down frequently. Even so, she keeps trying—especially when it comes to climbing onto the couch to be near her favorite human. Mealtime takes a little encouragement, but once she’s enticed (she loves having eggs mixed into her kibble), she happily cleans her entire bowl.

Chyna’s care focuses on maintaining her quality of life, safety, and comfort through gentle support and consistency. She is looking for a special home that understands her needs and is willing to cherish her for exactly who she is. In return, Chyna offers unwavering devotion, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love.

If you believe that the most meaningful bonds come from patience, compassion, and presence, Chyna is waiting for you.
