Chyna's Story

Courtesy post only by Denton Humane Society for Denton Animal Services

Meet beautiful brown eyed Chyna. This sweet lady is 8 years old and is a Pit mix. She currently weighs 57lbs. Chyna was surrendered to the shelter due to her family moving. Sadly, she is having a hard time adjusting after spending 8 years of her life with her family. Her family said she is best as an only dog. Chyna has never been around cats but “bonus” – she is potty trained. We have found that Chyna is a big old cuddle bug!

She prefers cuddles over just about anything else. Can you give her a second chance? She really needs one after losing her family. Her little heart is broken. If you have room in your heart and home, please contact Jason at Jason.Hernandez@cityofdenton.com. Chyna would love to meet you.
