Like his namesake, Churro is an irresistably sweet dog who is looking for a place to call home! He has bonded closely with his foster family and loves physical and emotional attention. While mostly calm, he is learning the fun that comes with zoomies, and enjoys his Nyla bone and comfy bed. He is progressing with house training and will need continued support with short, frequent walks during the day, and he is already keeping his sleeping space clean and dry at night. He is not a fan of crates, but does okay with being in a gated area. Churro will do best in a calm and mature environment with a patient adopter who respects his boundaries and helps him build confidence especially towards strangers that come into his home. Due to his discomfort towards other dogs, we are strongly advising that Churro be the only dog in his new home. A behavior consult is required prior to adoption.
