Churro has gone from a scared, unsure little boy who didn’t know what his future held to the happiest guy with the sweetest smile!

Churro is one of the 80+ dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Imagine spending your life inside a crowded, filthy house, never getting to feel the grass beneath your paws, never knowing when your next meal would come, and never getting to experience the simple joys of just being a dog.

When Churro first arrived, you could see the uncertainty in his little face. He was timid and unsure of this big new world, but even then, all he wanted was to crawl into someone’s lap and feel loved.

Now look at that smile!!

Churro is blossoming into the happiest little guy! He’s gaining weight, making new friends, discovering his playful side, and learning that life can actually be pretty wonderful!

He’s still the same gentle, affectionate boy who loves his cuddles, and he does great with other dogs, too!

Churro has already overcome so much, and now there’s just one thing missing from his happy ending... a family to call his very own.

He’s spent enough of his life just surviving. Now it’s his turn to be someone’s spoiled, loved, and cherished little best friend.

Churro • 2 years old •Terrier Mix • 35 lbs.

-------

ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends.
