Churro was found on the streets of San Antonio, Texas by Animal Care Services and his microchip showed he had previously been adopted and had an owner! Unfortunately, nobody answered the call; he was likely dumped.<br/><br/>At ACS they evaluated him in a play group on 8/31/25 and noted: "Dog displays sociability with all handlers and with male and female dogs observed with by greeting appropriately and coexisting with a loose body and a wagging tail."<br/><br/>This means Churro is highly adoptable! Just not in San Antonio, Texas where thousands of dogs live on the streets and the shelter has to make due to capacity constraints. After nine days or less, Churro was placed on the euthanasia list. Such is the fate of so many San Antonio, Texas animals.
