Chunk Norris

Chunk Norris came to us as an owner surrender. We are told he is a "Chigi", a chihuahua and Corgi mix, about 3.5 years old, and about 10 lbs. <br/><br/>His family said he is a pretty good listener, stopping whatever he is doing to come to you when you call. Chunk rides in the car well and loves his people's laps wherever he is and when he is not running the yard. <br/><br/>He is good with humans of all ages, but because he is currently intact (we will neuter ASAP) and reactive to other intact dogs, we would recommend no small children until he gets his hormones in check. He is accustomed to cats but unknown if okay to leave him unsupervised with them.<br/><br/>His family named him Chunk Norris because he thinks he is ALL THAT!<br/><br/>Check back for updates as we get to know more about Chunk Norris!<br/><br/><br/><br/>WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.<br/><br/>If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE of $410 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.<br/><br/>We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application.
