Chuey

Meet Chuey!!<br/><br/>This cute little mix of who knows what is named Chuey. She is likely a heeler / corgi mix, with maybe some other stuff in there. She has the face and ears like a heeler, kind of short legs like maybe there's some Corgi going on. Her owner found her as a puppy on the road in Utah and has had her ever since. Unfortunately, she has developed dementia and has to go into a facility where they restrict the size of companion animals. Rehoming Chuey is breaking her heart, she doesn't feel safe living on her own any longer. <br/><br/>Chuey is about 13 years old. I met her just the other day and she is incredibly sweet. She's good with dogs, cats. They haven't had her around little kids, but she seems so gentle I can't imagine it would be a problem with respectful children. She's really cute, with a very unique look about her. She still has some life in her, some spring and her step. She's been spayed, she's current on rabies, but does need some updating of other vaccines. I looked at her teeth and they looked pretty good to me, although I am not a vet.<br/><br/>Chuey would make an amazing companion in a quieter family that doesn't expect a dog to do 5 mi hikes and endless ball playing. Her needs would be very simple and easy. A couple of short walks a day or some yard time, a soft bed near her person. I really hope we can find someone for Chuey, these geriatric dogs tear my heart out.<br/><br/>Chuey is located near Cortez Colorado. Please contact Frank @ (360) 836-0211 if you'd like to meet Chuey.
