I’m a 2–3-year-old, 56-pound male Pittie mix, and I’m hoping with all my heart that someone will see this post and realize I could be the dog they’ve been looking for. <br/><br/>I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. I don’t understand why I’m here. I’m happy, loving, playful, and ready to give my whole heart to someone. Take me for a walk. Throw me a ball. Let me ride along on errands. Give me a comfy spot to curl up. Teach me what you expect from me, and I’ll do my best to make you proud.<br/><br/>I will need structure, boundaries, and continued training, but I’m smart and treat-motivated, which means I have all the ingredients to become an amazing companion with the right person. I just need someone willing to give me the guidance and consistency I deserve.<br/><br/>I didn’t choose to be a stray. I didn’t choose the shelter. And I certainly don’t understand why my time is running out.<br/><br/>Chuck is only asking for one thing: a chance.<br/><br/>A chance to leave the shelter alive.<br/>A chance to learn what it means to have a family.<br/>A chance to trade a kennel for a couch, shelter walls for a backyard, and uncertainty for someone who promises, “You’re home now.” <br/><br/>If you can adopt Chuck, please don’t wait.
