Chuck's Story

Chuck is a 15-year-old, 12-pound poodle mix who recently found himself at East Valley Animal Services after his owner surrendered him. Thankfully, DaisyLu Ranch was able to rescue him and give him a second chance. Despite his age, Chuck is in good health, fully vetted (including a fresh dental), and full of life. He loves going for walks, tagging along on car rides for errands, and relaxing at outdoor cafés. He’s happy, sweet, and loves being someone’s sidekick. As a poodle mix, Chuck will need regular grooming to keep his coat soft and healthy, but he’s well worth the pampering. We have the potential adopter fill out an application, then we set up a meet and greet. If they want to adopt, we set up a home check. If all goes well, we bring the dog to the adopter's home.

Our Mission

We rescue dogs who have been abandoned at the shelter due to their age or declining health. These dogs would have difficulty getting adopted and would be the first ones to be euthanized. After arriving at DailyLu Ranch, these senior dogs will be evaluated by our vet to determine a course of action to keep them comfortable w...
