Chuck's Story
Meet Chuck! PLEASE DO NOT APPLY BECAUSE CHUCK IS A DOODLE, but only if you can fulfill his very SPECIFIC PLACEMENT NEEDS. The doodles we rescued and are not for the average dog owner or family. They were surrendered from a horrendous backyard breeding situation and can be placed with dog savvy adopters only.

This group of dogs have wonderful temperaments but are undersocialized (shy / scared) and have very specific placement needs. TO ADOPT, PLEASE:

1. HAVE A FENCED YARD

2. HAVE A RESIDENT DOG THAT IS STABLE AND PLAYFUL

3. HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SHY OR UNDERSOCIALIZED DOGS

4. NO CHILDREN UNDER 12, NO EXCEPTIONS

5. HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE AND A BIG HEART

These dogs, Chuck included, thrive in the company of other playful dogs but have difficulty with most transitions including simple things like doorways, stairs, learning about living inside, are really shy with humans, and in general–are really learning about being a real "dog" and depend on another socialized dog to show them the way. You will see the best of Chuck in the videos below because he is very secure in his foster’s home but will regress initially once in a new home.

Chuck is crate trained, house trained, making progress on leash, a snugglebug, and has even attended dog daycare! He is a star in the making and we know his perfect family is out there.

Read through our adoption process and other adoption FAQs here www.rescueinc.dog/FAQs

If you are seeing this listing on Petfinder, please apply through the link on our website at www.rescueinc.dog/adopt

Please do not email with questions or message through Petfinder.
