She has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first. Christy loves her humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. Christy is even tested good with cats. Christy has a good temperament and has lots of love to give! She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Christy started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. Christy rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. We are looking for a committed family that will continue to socialize/train her to help her build confidence.

CHRISTY’S RESCUE STORY:

Poor Christy was living as a stray dog in the mountain. She was rescued by a volunteer of a TNR rescue group. The volunteer was able to rescue Christy and her 3 adorable puppies (Christin, Christine, and Christian). The rescue has a temporary rundown place for the dogs. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and the dogs are released to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with their dogs. The land where they kept the dog can no longer be used and they had to evacuate all dogs and return them back to the streets to live as stray dogs. The founder of the rescue organization has over 170 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them starving and suffering on the streets. She agreed to take Christy and her puppies home and give them a chance in life.

Christy had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give CHRISTY a loving home where she will never be left behind.

Please watch CHRISTY’s Youtube videos below:

https://youtu.be/02-vVwKq9-c - Christy & Emmy playing
https://youtu.be/sCfO7mWeGns - Christy Christin Chistine Christian Cassie training
https://youtu.be/IxP5bY_miLs - Christy and her pups Chistin Christine Christian at foster home
https://youtu.be/AboTTnNttDM - Christy and her pups Christin Christine Christian at foster home
https://youtu.be/3oqAc85da90 - Christy and her pups Christin Christine Christian
https://youtu.be/MB6KNj0bDWI - Christy no food aggression
https://youtu.be/svK39AaFiQY - Christy meeting cats

If you would like to give CHRISTY a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with your home photos.
You can also email your home environment photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org
Once we received your application, we will get back to you ASAP.

Adopt a Doggie FaceBook:
https://www.faceCatoook.com/pages/Adopt-a-Doggie/312107112299799

Temperament:
Energy Level: Medium
Ideal home environment: Both Quiet & Active
Is the dog good with strangers: Friendly
The dog is best with children of what age group?
