She is friendly with people and is good with other dogs. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Christmas started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Christmas is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog.

Christmas’s Rescue Story

Christmas was owned by irresponsible and mean owners. She was not spayed and had a litter of six puppies. Poor girl didn’t even get food regularly. The founder of an international rescue organization got a rescue message to save Christmas and her puppies. When the founder arrived at the site, she saw how poorly Christmas was treated. There was no food and water. Christmas was all skin and bone. She quickly persuaded her owners to surrender Christmas and all her puppies to her. The owner insisted that they would like to keep one of the puppies to guard their property. The rescue insisted that they should not ever have dogs since they don’t care for them.

Christmas and her puppies were rushed to the vet for a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Christmas a loving home she very much deserves.

Please watch Christmas’s YouTube videos below:

https://youtu.be/sjoJKBMJfUI - Christmas chewing bone
https://youtu.be/2KPGQQJt6Wc - Christmas meeting a child
https://youtu.be/WuoeHQZFL0I - Cristmas with children
https://youtu.be/QckjJBX_mmI - Christmas good with children
https://youtu.be/ffk-3NL50VY - Christmas no food aggression
https://youtu.be/64wx0nbs9xE - Christmas good with cats
https://youtu.be/UWwZwBo_8U4 - Christmas walking
https://youtu.be/LudOGwvlFrM - Christmas & Crista playing
https://youtu.be/A6g77Ric1Rk - Christmas Hiking
https://youtu.be/TuqjlGy-w5s - Christmas with Volunteers
https://youtu.be/Olb_wDen6Po - Christmas and puppies with Volunteers
https://youtu.be/No5SB3Kl0fk - December 2024 Rescue
https://youtu.be/zKj2GqImcuE - The rescue of Christmas and her puppies

If you would like to give CHRISTMAS a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with your home photos.
You can also email your home environment photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org
Once we receive your application, we will get back to you ASAP.

Adopt a Doggie Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adopt-a-Doggie/312107112299799

Temperament:
Energy Level: Medium
Ideal home environment: Both Quiet & Active
Is the dog good with strangers: Friendly
The dog is best with children of what age group?
