Chowder's Story

I'm an adorable 9-month-old Maltese who's still getting used to shelter life. New people and places can be a little scary for me right now, so I'm looking for a patient family that will give me time to settle in, build my confidence, and continue my training and socialization.

While I may be shy at first, there's a playful puppy underneath who's just waiting to come out once I feel safe and comfortable. Because I can be sensitive during adjustment periods, I'd be most comfortable in a home with adults or children over the age of 7 who can be gentle, patient, and understanding with me.

If you're willing to give me the time I need, I just might become your new best friend!

My adoption fee is $500 and includes the following:
-Spay/neuter surgery
-All current vaccinations
-Microchip
-FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals
-$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
