Chopper's Story

I first came to ASCMV back in 2019 when I was just a couple of years old. I spent some time with a family who loved me, but sadly, they had to surrender me this past year because they couldn't give me the care I need anymore. <br/><br/>I thrive in a big yard where I can run and play. I just love the great outdoors! I can't resist climbing and sometimes that means I escape my yard, so a nice secure yard would be best! I'm super friendly with people and I got along well with the other dog in my previous home. I know how to sit, walk well on a leash, and I'm both crate trained and housebroken. Swimming is one of my favorite activities, and I have a soft spot for pizza... who doesn't, right?<br/><br/>Now that I'm a bit older, I've become a little more selective about my friends. Just like any wise old man, I don't tolerate shenanigans! But, once I find the right companion, I attach quickly and love nothing more than just hanging out. I'm ready to find a new home where I can spend my days being doted on. I still have some energy left and want to live life to the fullest. I may be an old man, but I still have a lot of love to give!

*Must be 18 years or older to enter into adoption contract* Adoption fee is $150, with discounts if they're already spayed/neutered or a long-term resident.
