You just can't help smiling when you look at him😀

Chopper is potty trained and he sleeps in a crate at night but he'd much rather sleep cuddled up next to you! He's also leash trained and is an excellent walking companion.

Chopper is super smart and easily trainable. He's got his mother's brains. Chopper is such a good boy and never tries to escape the flimsy fencing where he is fostered. When he's outside playing and you come to the door, he'll be the first dog to greet you!

Chopper came to us as a small puppy with his mother and littermates from a Central Valley shelter. His front left leg showed signs of previous injury. He has since been to the vet for xrays which were sent to UCDAVIS to see if any surgical correction could be done. We were told that the break has long healed and he’s fine as is, other than an amputation which was not recommended since he fully uses the leg. He will have a mild limp for the rest of his life yet Chopper pays it no mind and simply charges ahead with his determined playfulness.
Chopper's first foster home had this to say about him..."Of his littermates, Chopper quickly distinguished himself and became a crowd favorite with his sweet face, cute mannerisms and playful attitude. We all fell for him at our foster home and he became our favorite. Chopper is smart and easily trainable...he works for food! He knows his name and comes when called. Chopper lives for belly rubs! He enjoys a bully stick or raw carrot for chew activity too. Chopper is great around other dogs and loves the big males following them around hot on their heels. Some may not see him as a GQ pup but his extra special personality makes up for it. Chopper is very loving and sweet with humans and especially children. He just loves little ones and his playful nature really comes out when they visit. He would be an amazing family dog and is just waiting for a chance to work his way into your heart!"

Chopper is neutered, vaccinated for Rabies, DAPP x3, Lepto x 2, bordatella and microchipped. He currently weighs about 70-75lbs. He is currently fostered in Nevada County.

The adoption fee for Chopper is $250. Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, and any other necessary vet care.

If you are interested in meeting Chopper click the following link. https://form.jotform.com/221116924195050.
