Chop's Story

How this pet arrived:Chop was brought in by a community member on August 22, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Chop! Chop is a handsome guy who's ready to find his next home-and we think he's going to be quite the good catch! We're still getting to know Chop, so he may be a little shy at first. Give him some time, patience, and plenty of positive encouragement, and you may just find yourself chopping it up with a wonderful new companion! Chop would do best with children 12 and older and is looking for an adopter who has some experience with dogs and understands that building trust takes time. If there are children in the home, they must be present for the meet and greet. He may not be the best match for a first-time dog owner, but for the right person, Chop could be the perfect cut! If you're ready to give this sweet boy the time and space he needs to come out of his shell, Chop might just be the missing piece to your family. Come meet him and see if you two make the cut! At SDHS:Chop has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Chop is now ready for adoption!<br/>Excitable Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Tri Color Secondary Color: Sable Weight: 55.6lbs Age: 1yrs 1mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
