Choopy's Story

Meet Choopy! This sweetheart came into WAG's care when in the early stages of recovering from flea allergy dermatitis. In the time she's been in foster care, we've gotten to see her get healthier and see what a great companion she is.

Choopy arrived in our care frightened and nearly bald. With a good diet and medications, her hair has mostly grown back. Her behavior is a bit more typical of a shepherd than a lab. She will inspect everything and everyone that comes into the house, and takes time to warm up to someone new. With continued socialization, she is becoming less fearful.

Choopy is a great companion in the home! When she's comfortable, she rarely barks. She is agile, a quick learner, and is very food motivated, so she will go as far with training as an adopter wants to go.

Choopy's ideal home would need a securely fenced yard (at least 5' tall), people that can continue working on her training, and either no other dogs in the home or a laid-back dog. Choopy has previously lived with cats, but would likely be tempted to chase a cat if it ran from her. She has lived around kids and does well with gentle kids.

Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com

If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com

Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements.

Check out our videos on Tik Tok!
https://www.tiktok.com/@wagwadogmel

Adoption donation fee $300 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue)
