Chocolate Strawberry Catahoula Leopard Dog St. Louis, MO

What Chocolate Strawberry wants most is to bond with people and to soak up all the affection, scratches, and pets he can get! He's great in a crate; when he's in there, he's completely chilled out. Chocolate Strawberry has been extremely stressed in the shelter, so utilizing a crate is going to be such an effective way of allowing him to decompress in any home that he goes to. With a little patience, training, and love, this boy is going to be amazing.

A few more notes about Choc Strawb:
-He's 1 year old, 70 lbs, and the Catahoula Leopard Dog in him makes him incredibly striking. This dog turns heads wherever he goes.
-He has certified trainer volunteer friends that would love to help him in any home he goes to, whether it be a foster or adopter, and they will even supervise intros with other dogs.
-He is dog friendly! Over the past few weeks, he made friends with a sweet girl named Judith, and he was so happy to go on walks with her and play with her in the yard - I think it would be great for him to make another dog friend!
-He LOVES to chew and giving him things to chew on is a great way to take Choc Strawb from a little bit too excited to calm and relaxed. Some of his favorite things to chew include busy bones, nylabones, venison prime bones, collagen sticks, actual sticks on the ground, yak chews, dental chews, peanut butter filled bones, peanut butter filled kongs - he loves them all!
-He appears to be potty trained
