Chloe (Spayed) (Photos 5/4/2024) (In Foster Care: Still Available for Adoption)

Chloe is a sweet 8-year old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV after hours on May 3, 2024 along with her best friend (Joker). They were taken inside the shelter by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff and our HSOV Executive Director shortly after their arrival. Thankfully a note was left with Chloe and Joker which gave their names and ages.<br/><br/>Chloe has a tan short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, white toes on her paws, a long tail, and a beautiful face with brown teddy bear eyes, black shading on her muzzle, and short semi-erect ears. <br/><br/>These photos were taken on May 4th 2024 when HSOV Volunteer Tracy Lynn and HSOV Kennel Tech Hannah McClain accompanied Chloe and Joker for their outdoor photo session.<br/><br/>Chloe has a friendly, easygoing personality. She chose to relax in the green grass for most of her glamour pictures. <br/><br/>Chloe is a very big girl who currently weighs 117 lbs. She has already been spayed.<br/><br/>Happy Update: Chloe was adopted shortly before noon on September 6, 2025.<br/><br/>Unfortunately Chloe was returned to HSOV on September 10th because she was a little bigger dog than her adopters realized .. And Chloe was having trouble going up/down steps, so she needed assistance with going in/out of the house.<br/><br/>Chloe is once again waiting on her dream home~ <br/><br/>Update: Chloe went home with a foster family on December 16, 2025 so that she could spend time in a loving home environment for a much-need 'vacation' out of her shelter kennel and enjoy companionship with her foster family 24/7. Chloe is still available for adoption .. Please complete/submit an HSOV foster/adoption application if you are interested in giving Chloe a forever home so that we may arranged a meet-and-greet with her foster family.
