CHLOE - PRETTY AND SMART LITTLE SCHNAUZER's Story
PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for CHLOE'S adoption, you must live within 50 miles of the zipcode 75082.
Chloe is a 3-year-old female Schnauzer that weighs about 22lbs. In the past month she has been at her foster family, she has been such a sweetheart. All she wants to do is lay quietly next to us to be petted and her tail shows she is so happy every time she sees new people.
She has the cutest howl and does well with our other dogs. She plays with our border collie who wants to play all the time but she does not bother our old toy aussie who just wants to be left alone. And she loooves kids. In a walk at the park, she saw a couple of toddlers who wanted to pet her, walked up to them slowly and sat in front of them perfectly still so they could pet her head. She was so gentle and calm the entire time, despite kids and other dogs running around her. She also seems to be pretty smart as she learned how to use the doggy door in just 1 day and learned the layout of the house to know when we go towards the bedrooms she can run outside through the doggy door and wait for us on the other side of the yard.

Chloe is crate trained and mostly house-broken. On the first day, she was a little protective of her food, but now we have no problem feeding her at the same time as our other dogs. We are currently teaching her that it's not okay to run out the door when it is opened so she doesn't end up at a shelter again.

If you are interested in adopting Chloe, fill out an application at furryfriendsanimalrescue.org. Her adoption fee covers spaying, vaccine, heartworm testing and deworm. She is available for adoption now.

Anyone interested in our dogs must be over 21. We are only able to adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance of the dog's foster home and please be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers. We do not adopt on first-come-first-served basis, we want to make sure the dog is right for the family and vice versa based on what we know about the dog's personality, habits and behaviors. Our adoption fee for dogs is $175. You can complete an online adoption application on our website http://www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org- we will get back with you asap.
