Chloe's Story

Name: Chloe
Breed: Cattle Dog Mix
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 10 years
Weight: 38 lbs
Animal Number: 4718

Happy, Loving, Sweet, Chill Yet Spunky, Delightful Girl - Has Medical Needs

Good with dogs? Yes! Chloe gets along with the two 75 pound Golden Retrievers in her foster home. She likes to run around with other dogs and enjoys play groups. She is so friendly and chill that when she was in the shelter, she was recruited to help test other dogs’ temperaments.

Good with cats? Not Tested

Good with kids? Not Tested, but she loves everyone she meets.

Energy level: Medium, but in a chill kind of way. She is very good at napping and resting at your feet. But for a 10 year old, she had spunk and energy! She really likes to go on walks, is good with toys and gentle with them, and may be a great dog to take to restaurants or events since she’s confident but relaxed.

Medical needs: Chloe has joint degeneration and signs of hip dysplasia. She appears to be comfortable and does not need any medication at this time. She has a mobile lipoma mass on her thorax and a non-redudible umbilical hernia that do not require any surgery.

Animal Characteristics: Chloe is a super happy, loving, sweet, chill yet spunky, delightful pup who is basically perfect! She is very even keeled and loves everyone she meets. She prances with joy when she sees a new human or dog to meet, wags her tail and loves being petted but does not jump up, then goes on her merry way. Chloe loves to hang out with her people and will keep you company near your desk as you work or relax outside when you are working in the yard. She knows how to sit, could stay in a crate if she needed too (but she’s peaceful at home and would much rather be next to you!), hops right into a car to take a ride, rarely barks, and is fully potty trained. Chloe would thrive with an adopter who works from home some of the time, or can take her along as a best friend dog, or has another sweet dog for Chloe to hang out with. She is ready to bring joy and love to her forever home!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at
www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. My adoption fee is $300. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!
