Meet Chloe<br/><br/>Chloe is precious, but she is also 100% Chihuahua and her future family needs to understand that.<br/><br/>When Chloe first came to us, she wasn't exactly handing out kisses. In a new home, she may initially be standoffish and a little nippy when she is uncomfortable. Her person needs to speak Chihuahua. Read her signs, respect her space and give her a few days to decompress. Once she decides you're safe, the tough little exterior disappears and she becomes an absolute love bug.<br/><br/>Chloe is 7 years old, spayed and weighs about 13 pounds. She does have liver disease that is being managed with Denamarin, so her new family will need to continue her medication and be diligent about her diet.<br/><br/>And speaking of food... Chloe is basically a Roomba vacuum with four legs. Anything that hits the floor is fair game, and any unattended dog bowl is apparently hers too. She could definitely stand to lose a little weight, so portion control and some exercise will do this girl good.<br/><br/>Chloe isn't looking for perfection. She needs someone patient who will give her time, understand her Chihuahua ways and love her exactly as she is.<br/><br/>Give her a few days to trust you and you'll have a tiny love bug who is all yours.<br/><br/>If you can accept Chloe for everything she is, please open your heart, your arms and your door to her. She deserves it.
