CHLOE's Story
Hi. My name is Chloe and I am around 6 years old and am most likely a Border Collie and Spaniel mix. I weigh about 50 pounds right now, but could afford to lose a few pounds. My foster mom says I am extremely sweet and friendly with all the people I have met. I am also a very loving and affectionate dog - I’m a little embarrassed to tell you too that the vetting staff thought I was just awesome. I walk easily on a leash and enjoy going for walks.

I really enjoy spending time in the yard exploring and hanging out, watching all that is going on. I prefer to be with you and really enjoy sitting next to you on the couch; at night I’ll lay in my dog bed in the bedroom next to my foster mom’s bed. I am not a playful dog - never really had toys before - but I am extremely sweet and would love having a fenced yard that we can spend time in with together.

So I heard that I am a sensitive dog too because I take a little bit of time to adjust to new people, environments, and situations - so the people/family that adopt me need to be understanding and patient, especially that first week. But please don’t hold it against me because I have been through a lot of changes during the past couple months and just need time to adjust and acclimate.

I have gotten along well with the other dogs in my foster home; I tend to be more of an Alpha dog and can sometimes be a little bossy to the other dogs. I would be fine as the only dog in the household or I could be with another dog who will let me be the boss.

This dog is approved for households with children over 12 years old. This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, tested for heartworm disease and tick borne diseases (negative) plus provided vaccinations, worming, as well as have been spayed and microchipped.
