Chloe's Story

Meet Chloe. 8 year old Chloe is looking for a very special adopter! Patience, Empathy, Love, and Treats are the key to winning her trust and unlocking this sweet little girl’s heart! She is anxious in new environments and takes time to warm up to new people, but when she chooses to finally put her trust in you, IT IS THE MOST REWARDING FEELING IN THE WORLD!

Now that Chloe is comfortable with her foster family, Chloe LOVES getting belly rubs, she jumps into your lap and seeks affection, she is playful with a non-stop wagging tail, and she snuggles on your lap when you are ready to watch a movie.

Chloe is only 12 lbs, is crate trained, almost never barks, knows some commands, is completely house trained, and if you have to be away for long periods of time she is comfortable using a potty pad in the house. She walks on-leash like a dream, and would be an excellent exercise buddy for someone that wants to get more steps in their daily exercise routine.

Chloe is distrustful of humans at first and wary of other pets, so her new family will need to have patience and not rush or force interaction, and need to introduce new things to Chloe in a slow controlled way. Consequently, Chloe needs a home that has no children, and no other pets. To our knowledge, Chloe has not bitten anyone, but we feel that she could be a bite risk in stressful situations where she feels threatened or afraid. For example, we recommend using a muzzle when taking her to the vet or groomer.

But don’t let the necessary work required at the beginning of your relationship with Chloe, stop you from meeting Chloe and enjoying this extremely loving and loyal companion and having her open her heart to you! This beautiful soul is deserving of a wonderful forever family – if that could be you, don’t hesitate to apply today! Application can be found by visiting: grrrsavesdogs.org/applications

Chloe will require a smoke free home, have a secured fenced yard and reside within 75 miles of midtown Savannah, Georgia. To meet Chloe, please begin by completing our online application by visiting grrrsavesdogs.org/applications
