Hi! My name is Chloe! I'm a beautiful 5-year old lemon & white female beagle! I'm a big girl! I weigh about 58 lbs, but should probably lose about 10 lbs. I need a new home because my owner has health problems & can't properly care for me. I'm an affectionate & loving girl! I love to be petted! I'm also very easygoing! I'm like to walk around my fenced in yard! I'm not used to walking on a leash - but I was working on that when I was at the vet hospital getting spayed. I did really good -- I'll be a pro in no time with leash walking! I like to sleep on the couch! That's my favorite spot! I also do very well in a car. I've been raised with other dogs & I'm very good with them! I'm housetrained. I'm used to going outside every few hours. If you think I need to go outside, just ask me "Do you want to go potty?" & I'll give you a look if I do! I'm already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines! Now I just need my forever home to find me! Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
