This beautiful doe-eyed girl is a smart, friendly, ~35lb, 8-yr old Goldendoodle. Chloe first joined our rescue ~4 yrs ago and had a lot of skin allergy issues. Her personal Veterinary Dermatologist and foster mom helped return her coat to its glory, and she was adopted to a new family. Chloe was brought back to us recently, and her skin was a mess again. We have her food/medication/bath combo nearly nailed down, and she's feeling and looking great. Chloe has been cleared to start looking for a new furever family! We are committed to helping as best we can with ongoing care for her allergy needs and are praying for a local adopter for this amazing girl!<br/><br/>Her Foster Dad sat down and had a chat with her the other day. This is what she had to say:<br/><br/>Foster Dad: How do you feel about people?<br/>Chloe: I adore people! I want to sit in their laps, lick them in the face and take naps with them. I want them to pet me constantly. I want them to love me as much as I love them. And everyone I’ve met does love me, you know! <br/><br/>FD: How do you feel about other dogs?<br/>C: When it comes to making dog friends, I start out slow. But it doesn’t take long for me to become a certified member of the pack. I can play with the best of them, even giving the pack leader a run for their money. <br/><br/>FD: What about your house manners?<br/>C: I am completely house trained! I'm easily corrected when I want to empty a dog bed of all its fluff or scratch at a rug. I don't mind my kennel bedroom and will willingly sleep in there until morning, but I prefer a human bed if you're offering! <br/><br/>FD: Do you like traveling in the car?<br/>C: When we leave home, I can be a bit anxious because I don’t know where we’re going. After a few repeat trips, I get the hang of it. I’m a great rider on the way home because I know where I’m going and I’m happy to be headed that way.<br/><br/>FD: How do you like having a backyard?<br/>C: It's ok, I could take it or leave it. I will go potty pretty quickly in the backyard or on walks. I will reluctantly hang out in the backyard if that’s where my humans and my pack are, but I will zip into the comforts of air conditioning when I get a chance.<br/><br/>FD: What else do you want your future family to know?<br/>C: My diet is very strict due to the way my skin reacts to certain foods. If I vary from my diet, my coat gets itchy and thin. I get regular special baths and I do my best to cooperate while looking super cute when wet. I even have a board-certified Veterinary Dermatologist who will make sure I have exactly what I need to feel my best! <br/><br/>Does our sweet Chloe sound like the perfect fit for your family?
