Chiquito's Story
This is Chiquito, the Chihuahua you didn't know you needed. He is still a puppy at 8 months old. Therefore he does have quite the energy and would need plenty of stimulation. Chiquito does get along with other dogs however he has shown that he likes to be dominant. He has the case of little dog syndrome. He thinks he's a big bad dog but in actuality he's only 13 pounds of adorableness. He has also shown to start being territorial with other dogs. Therefore some training now would be super beneficial. As for people he's a typical small dog he loves being held and cuddled. He loves everyone he meets and welcomes them.
All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to come to PAWS. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable. The deposit is not applied to the adoption fee.P.A.W.S (Protecting Animal Welfare Society)
Phone: (217)-243-7297
Please leave a message, your call will be returned.

400 W.
