Chip's Story

Chip and his housemate/daughter came to us when their older owners could no longer care for them. Chip is a confident little dude, and loves going on walks, and playing in our fenced-in yards.

Chip lived with an older large dog, small dogs, cats, and kids, and did well with all of them. Though he enjoys playing with Blueberry (his daughter) he is not bonded to her, and could probably live happily with any other dog who enjoys small-dog energy.

Chip was potty-pad trained in his previous home, and we are working with him on toileting outside.

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Chip's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Chip.
