Chip's Story
Chip is a sweet, energetic pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. He was found wandering near a forested area by a workplace, darting around the parking lot and trying to stay out of the rain. Since being rescued, he’s been learning what it means to feel secure, loved, and part of a home.

Chip is crate trained, potty trained, and quickly adapts to a routine—great for someone with a full-time job and plenty of love and time to give outside of work. He loves long morning and evening walks, is working on becoming a running buddy, and absolutely adores toys. He’ll happily snuggle with a blanket in his crate (though beds tend to become his chew projects inside of the crate!).

He gets along with other dogs and would do best with a playful, active sibling, but he'll happily accept being the only furbaby. He hasn’t met kids or cats, but because he’s still learning not to jump, older kids would be the safest fit. He can be shy with new people, but warms up with kindness and time. On walks, Chip may react to barking dogs, but he’s improving with consistency.

Chip is the kind of dog who wants to be near you—curled up in whatever room you’re in, keeping you company. He’s ready to turn the page and find a forever home where he can keep growing and shining.
