Chino's Story

Chino is a mess. In a beautiful, chaotic, loving kind of way. Chino is a cuddle bug and loves to be on top of you (at only 35 pounds, it's not bad, like a weighted blanket). He loves to play. He does excellent with independent play and loves rough housing with the big dogs. We are working on walking on a leash. He is house trained...for the most part. He has accidents sometimes. Some days he’ll go without one and other days he’ll have a few. Again, it’s a work in progress. Chino is silly and hyper but can also be cuddly and lazy. Chino has come along way since coming into foster. He still gets timid of anyone raises their voice for any reason. Even if you’re just excited and talking. All this boy wants is to be loved, cared for, and accepted. Chino will lay anywhere. And I do mean anywhere. Even if that’s on top of you or another dog. Chino is extremely trusting and loves everyone. He is a bit of a Velcro boy at times but he just craves his people. Chino doesn’t like the crate but does just fine on it. He’s more of a free spirit if he’s able to be. Chino is learning what typical household items are everyday. IE: blow dryer, vacuum, broom. He is getting used to seeing items but some things scare him. He does well if you set the item down and let him sniff it. If you want a best buddy who is full of curiosity and adventure, chino is your boy.
