China's Story
China

We have had so many sad posts in the last couple of days, that we thought we should share something positive. Something to make us smile.

When China arrived, she was heavily pregnant, unable to walk, as she had been hit by a car and was also suffering with TVT, a sexually transmitted cancer, she had become pregnant after being unable to walk.

Paloma (our vet) had no option but to carry out a Caesarian so that she could begin treating China. China had five puppies, who sadly after just a couple of days all went over the rainbow bridge.

When we first posted China, some people asked if it was fair to put her through treatment, which is a valid question. Some people asked why we would put her through treatment, I hope that this update will answer why.

We believe every dog deserves a chance, especially dogs like China who have been through so much, we hope that they will get a chance to play, to know they are safe, to know they are loved, even if it is just for a day.

We adopt our dogs locally in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as well as to Canada and United States. Once adopted we fly dogs with volunteer flight angel to their forever home (nearest airport.)

About Us

The SULA Society - Saving Unloved Lovable Animals.

We are a dog rescue and animal shelter in Mexico that gives the homeless animals of Puerto Vallarta a second chance, because every animal deserves to have a happy home.

We are a group of volunteers led by mother-daughter team Barbara and Lisa who provide veterinary care, shelter, and rehabilitation for animals in Puerto Vallarta.

Adoption application link is below:
https://www.thesulasociety.com/application

If you have any questions please contact us here:
https://www.thesulasociety.com/contact

Thank you for considering adoption of a rescue dog!
https://www.thesulasociety.com/
